The Moonlit Herbarium is maintained by a contemporary archivist working by hand, inspired by historical botanical practices, folklore, and the quiet discipline of observation.
While the materials of the archive are presented as recovered correspondence, the work of writing, pressing, assembling, and mailing is done in the present day, with care and intention.
This project exists at the intersection of craft, narrative, and devotion to the natural world.
