This Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains how cancellations, changes, and renewals work for both one-time purchases and Subscription purchases (“Purchase Options”) made through The Moonlit Herbarium (the “Services”).
By placing an order or enrolling in a Subscription, you agree to the terms below.
1. ONE-TIME PURCHASES
1.1 Order Changes or Cancellations
Due to the small-batch, handmade, and time-sensitive nature of our products, we may not be able to accommodate order cancellations or edits once your order has been processed.
If you need to request a change, please email us as soon as possible at:

We will do our best, but cannot guarantee adjustments once the order has entered fulfillment or production.

2. SUBSCRIPTION PURCHASES (MAIL CLUB)
Subscription purchases renew automatically and are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or at the frequency selected at checkout). By enrolling, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method for each renewal until cancellation.
2.1 How Subscription Billing Works

Your Subscription will renew automatically on your billing date.

Billing dates are based on the date you first purchased the Subscription.

Charges are processed through your chosen payment method in Shopify.

You will receive order or renewal confirmations by email.
2.2 How to Cancel Your Subscription
You may cancel your Subscription at any time before your next billing date.
To cancel:

Log into your customer account

Select “Subscriptions”

Click “Manage”

Select “Cancel Subscription”
Or request cancellation by email at:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
You will continue to receive any remaining mailings already paid for.
Charges already processed are non-refundable.
This includes:

The current month’s charge
-
Orders already prepared
-
Orders already shipped
-
Renewals that occurred prior to cancellation
Subscriptions cannot be cancelled retroactively.
2.3 Monthly Cut-Off Dates
Each month’s letter and mail-club items are produced in limited batches.
Because of this:

Cancelling after the billing date means you will still receive that month’s package.

Cancelling before the billing date means your Subscription will not renew.
Your billing date serves as your cut-off date.
2.4 Skipping a Month
If available, you may skip a single renewal period from your account dashboard (depending on your Shopify Purchase Options settings).
Skipping a month must be done before your billing date.
2.5 Updating Payment Methods
You are responsible for keeping your payment method active and up to date.
If a payment fails:

Shopify will attempt to reprocess the payment

Your Subscription may be paused until updated

Orders will not ship until payment is successfully processed
2.6 Price Changes
We may adjust Subscription pricing from time to time.
If we do:

You will be notified in advance, in accordance with applicable law

Continued use of the Subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing
2.7 Limited Quantities
Subscription spots may be limited.
If your Subscription is cancelled, we cannot guarantee future availability.
